Meet Dr. David S. Krishingner

“I have always wanted to be able to care for people in a direct manner. Dentistry has allowed me to use my hands, mind, and spiritual soul to directly impact the lives of the people I work with and for. This practice and my patients are truly one of life’s greatest gifts to me.”

Dr. David S. Krishingner grew up in Hendersonville, North Carolina and was glad to come back home to work and live in the mountains. He graduated from the University of North Carolina School Of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994 and began his practice in Brevard in July, 1994. He has served with the Transylvania County Board of Health, five years with the Brevard Rotary Club, participates with Transylvania County Healthy Smiles Program, and is privileged to support the county in many ways. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Association. The Water Oak Dental Group was established in 2006 and is the realization of years of planning. One of our goals is to provide diversity and expertise to our patients by working together as a group of dentists.

Dr. Krishingner has experience in all aspects of dentistry including: Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics (root canals), Laser Dentistry, Operative Dentistry (fillings), Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics (fixed crown and bridge and removable partial and complete dentures), Pedodontics (children’s dentistry), and Periodontics (gum problems).

Dr. Krishingner and his wife Tami have two children, Carissa and Carson. He enjoys golfing, spending time with his family, singing, and participating with the theatre.
